Chain Reaction

My dream for our adoption is that it triggers a chain reaction for people to adopt, especially in our home town and church.  There is such a need, both locally and internationally.  I hope to lay out our steps in simple format for anyone to follow for international adoption as we go.  By the end I hope to make a clear laid out list of steps to take, if our research and our journey could benefit someone else on their journey it would be well worth the time and effort and research I've been contributing to it.
Step 1: Apply to the Alberta government, mail in application form ADOP2777 (probably can be found on the government of Alberta website.)
Step 2: After confirmation to proceed begin Part 1 of citizenship requirement (if you go the citizenship route as opposed to permanent resident route) Read everything and do everything exactly as it should be.

We are only on step 2 right now.  Waiting for official confirmation from step 1, then we will contact our agency (Christian Adoption Services) and begin another homestudy.

I hope we are going through this process in order to help others.  Please if you stumble upon this page randomly (especially once our adoption is complete) and need assistance or advice for your own adoption, contact me and I will try to help as much as I can.
Check out the facebook page for Falcos, great things are happening there!
