IMMUNIZATIONS!

I hate immunizations, I'm not an anti-vac person.  I don't advocate that you should or should not vaccinate your child and I get annoyed with people who do.  But I still think vaccinations are scary, painful and I just don't like them.  At 10 months I still hadn't immunized Kailum from anything, I intended to start his immunizations after a year and do so on a delayed basis.  But with travel in mind I took him in to get his routine immunizations and MMR as a precaution.  I was thoroughly impressed with the lady at the clinic who spent probably an hour walking me through everything and answering questions.  Kailum got a high fever from the MMR vaccinations and became a cuddly little boy (a very odd thing!) and spent a whole day looking like this:

 

It was a very sad day for him and me, I don't like seeing him so not himself.  So next step is for me and Landon to get our travel vaccinations, including Yellow Fever which I am not excited to get! hopefully I don't look as sad after mine!
